The recognition took place during the FAAN 2025 Safety Week, held at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

The annual event, themed “Navigating Conflict for a Safer Aviation in Nigeria,” convened key industry stakeholders including airlines, regulatory agencies, ground handling companies, and safety professionals. The program focused on strategies for conflict management, the importance of a safety-driven culture, and the collective responsibility of all aviation stakeholders in building a resilient and secure air transport system.

SAHCO Donates Medical Equipment to NDLEA, MM1 HAJJ & Cargo Command

Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) has reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by donating essential medical equipment to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Hajj & Cargo Command at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

Representing the Managing Director/CEO of SAHCO, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, at the donation ceremony was the Executive Director, Cargo Services, Boma Ukwunna. She reiterated SAHCO’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with government agencies, including the NDLEA, to ensure a healthy and secure work environment. She further emphasized SAHCO’s dedication to maintaining a drug-free import and export process within cargo warehouses.

In response, the NDLEA Commandant at the Hajj & Cargo Terminal, MMIA, ACGN Usman Aliu Wadar, expressed profound gratitude for the generous donation. This prestigious recognition highlights SAHCO’s unwavering dedication to delivering world-class ground handling services, operational efficiency, and unsurpassed professionalism across Nigeria’s airports.
